This website is run by Emily Lester ("I", "me", "my"), a sole trader based in Staffordshire, England. You can contact me at emily@emilylester.co,uk.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.These terms cover your use of this website only. If you hire me for a project, a separate agreement and set of client terms will apply to that work.
2. Using the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
use the site in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or any connected systems;
introduce viruses, malicious code or anything else harmful;
copy, scrape or collect content from the site by automated means without my permission; or
use the site to send unsolicited marketing or spam.
I may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time, without notice, if I reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
3. Intellectual property
3.1 All content on this website is owned by me or used with permission. This includes text, copywriting, logos, graphics, illustrations, photography, layouts and the overall design of the site.
3.2 You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or adapt any of its content without my written permission.
3.3 The work shown in my portfolio and case studies, including websites, brands, illustrations, menus and packaging, was created for my clients. Those clients may own the rights to the finished work or the brands shown. Their inclusion on this site does not give you any right to use or copy them.
3.4 Names and logos of other businesses on this site belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here does not suggest any endorsement beyond the work described.
3.5 Squarespace is a registered trademark of Squarespace, Inc. I am a member of the Squarespace Circle programme and build websites on the platform, but this website and my services are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Squarespace.
3.6 Misusing this website or its content, including copying or republishing it without permission, may lead to legal action.
4. Information on this website
4.1 I try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee that it is always complete or current. Prices, packages, timelines and availability may change, and your written quote is what applies to any project.
4.2 Content on this site, including blog posts or guides, is general information about web design and branding. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
4.3 Testimonials and case studies reflect the experiences of individual clients. They are not a guarantee that you will get the same results.
5. Enquiries, bookings and forms
5.1 If you contact me through a form, email or the booking calendar, you agree to give accurate details.
5.2 Booking an intro call is free and creates no obligation for either of us. A project only begins once you have accepted a written quote and paid the deposit.
5.3 Bookings are made through Calendly, a third-party service. By using it you also agree to Calendly's own terms and privacy policy.
5.4 I aim to reply to enquiries within 1 to 2 business days, but I cannot guarantee a response time.
6. Links to other websites
This website may link to third-party websites, such as Squarespace, client websites, social media platforms and tools I recommend. I do not control these sites and I am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Linking to a site does not mean I endorse everything on it.
7. Privacy and cookies

7.3 This site is hosted on Squarespace, which may collect analytics and technical data about how the site is used.

I cannot promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Squarespace maintenance, internet problems and other factors outside my control may affect access. I may update, change or remove parts of the site at any time without notice.
